No. The free web version opens straight into the game. Progress stays in this browser, with no account or cloud backup. Clearing site data, private browsing or changing browsers can lose your progress.
An internet connection is needed to open the web game. Once loaded, the round runs in your browser. Pronunciation depends on the voices available on your device.
